The month of September is upon us and with it comes the start of the fall season. I'm looking forward to some relief from this heat and hope for cooler weather and light rain, okay a little more than light because I'm in California and if you already didn't know, we have no water, lol.
The fall season is a season for transformation. The leaves begin to fall off the trees, animals begin to prepare for the winter months and we get ready to shift from our lazy summer ways into the beginnings of the hectic holiday season. The hustle and bustle of social gatherings, increased traffic because the kids are back in school, football, and the soon to be blitz of mall trips to begin holiday shopping should play second fiddle to time spent in front of the fire, spending time with family and friends, and giving thanks for all that you have. Fall for me is a time for reflection, a time to begin to plan for the upcoming year, and this year ... time to thank our customers for their support by giving them the opportunity to taste and try our wonderful teas. We will be hosting a series of complimentary tea tastings in the months of September and October as a way for us to say thanks and to give people the chance to pick our brains about all things tea in hopes of convincing you to love tea as much as we do. With the presence of fall we become tea obsessed, more so because the cooler weather means we can enjoy more cups of HOT tea.
With the fall season comes the introduction of some new items for Bundts & Crumpets Specialty Tea, which includes some new accessories to brew tea with as well as our new tea sampler. We are so excited about our tea sampler because it is an opportunity to try six of our fall favorites chosen for their ability to take us to that place of comfort while embodying the essence of fall. Caramel Cookie Green Tea, a unique green tea that features caramel and brittle pieces, almond, walnuts and roasted sesame seeds. One sip and you'll be vaguely reminded of a slightly sweet caramel treat.
Cinna Pear White Tea, is a light and delicate blend that features cinnamon, cranberries and the essence of pear.
Spiced Apple Cider Fruit Tisane features apples, hibiscus, cinnamon, cardamom. star anise, and planed almonds to create a fall holiday favorite that can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike.
Turmeric Ginger Rooibos, is a warm and zesty blend that features turmeric, ginger, fenugreek, clove, cinnamon, cardamom, lemon, black pepper, and apple that can be enjoyed hot or if you must, iced for a lovely caffeine-free experience.
